Rick Melner grew up with a father deeply entrenched in the real estate industry, igniting his early interest in the field. After completing his studies in marketing and being a part of the National Champion Ultimate Frisbee team at the University of Oregon, his disciplined and process-oriented approach solidified. Rick honed his skills working in high-ranking marketing roles at major vacation ownership companies. Despite extensive travel for work, he began building and managing investment properties.

From 2017 onwards, Rick has channeled his boundless energy into assisting buyers and sellers through the Melner Group. His arsenal includes a delightful sense of humor, a level-headed demeanor, strong integrative negotiation skills, and a competitive spirit, all tailored to benefit his clients. With his extensive firsthand experience as a rental property owner, Rick's forte lies in guiding others through investment property transactions.

Rick balances work with play, immersing himself in various outdoor activities like snowboarding, surfing the Oregon Coast, mountain biking, and engaging in sports. He thrives amidst nature, often exploring the offerings of Central Oregon with his family. An involved parent, he has devoted 15 years to coaching his five children in a range of sports, including soccer, basketball, and Ultimate. Notably, he's served as the head coach for the top-ranked boys Summit High School Ultimate team for six years.

His abode is nestled on Bend's westside, residing in a NW Contemporary style home adorned with vaulted ceilings and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light. The location is enviable, providing easy access to trails, Mt. Bachelor, the Cascade Lakes, and nearby schools.
